Who We Are?
About Us
Kairali Brisbane is a dynamic, voluntary organization founded with the goal of preserving and promoting the rich culture and traditions of Kerala. With a strong sense of community, we aim to connect individuals both individually and corporately to celebrate and uphold the values of our heritage.
We provide a platform for the Malayalee community to come together and celebrate major cultural events like Onam, Christmas, Diwali, and Vishu. Additionally, we host sporting events, family activities, educational opportunities, and charity initiatives that promote social responsibility and wellness.


Multi-Cultural Fusion Fest
Multi-cultural fusion fest organised by Kairali Brisbane celebrates the rich cultural contributions that brings our Brisbane together. Much exiting citizenship ceremony, welcomes new Australians on behalf of the Commonwealth through this prestigious ceremony and; having the opportunity to be a part of a special moment in the lives of people who have chosen to call Australia , the home; is like “feather to a cap” for Kairali Brisbane. Enthralling dance performances, enchanted musical beats, Tantalising flavours and splendid laser shows also add colours to this event. These performances serve as a bridging tool for people to see the uniqueness of Brisbane’s residents, especially the inclusivity of multi cultural residents in Brisbane.
Onam
The Onam celebration, is one of the main events organized by Kairali Brisbane. It includes a variety of activities such as traditional dances, music performances, and a grand feast called Onam Sadhya, which features an array of Kerala delicacies served on banana leaves.
The event aims to bring together the Malayali community in Brisbane, offering a chance to preserve and promote their cultural heritage. It also includes engaging activities for all age groups, ensuring that the spirit of Onam is celebrated in its true essence, symbolizing joy, prosperity, and unity.

All Australia Sevens Football Tournament
Kairali Brisbane proudly organizes the All Australia Sevens Football Tournament annually, named in honor of Hegal Joseph, a beloved star of Brisbane’s Malayali community who made a legendary mark in Australian football at a young age. This prestigious event celebrates the essence of football, bringing together interstate teams to compete in four dynamic groups. As one of the largest Malayali organizations in Australia, Kairali Brisbane extends a warm invitation to all football enthusiasts to be part of this grand celebration of the sport.
With over 25 matches across four pools, the tournament promises thrilling competition and exciting rewards, including:
